Why should soil be treated?

Soil should be treated against subterranean termites to ensure no structural damage in the future therefore legislation was passed to make sure that this happen;

According to National Building Regulations and Standards:  Act. 1977. and ACT  103 OF 1977 all buildings the foundations of all buildings must be treated against pests like termites etc.

Who can do this treatment?

Must be carried out by a qualified pest control operator;   who is registered   at   “the department of agriculture;  and use of the right pesticide:  for subterranean termites

TO  AVOID  EXPENSIVE DRILL;  AND INJECT  TREATMENT; AFTER THE BUILDING HAS BEEN ERECTED.   AND MUST BE SATISFY  TO  “THE SABS STANDARDS
